Meet our friends and family who are walking down the aisle with us

Gabbi Mitchell

Matron of Honor

Gabbi and I first met when we were kids playing Parks and Rec Softball (go Gators). We later reconnected in high school where we became close friends. Gabbi is not only my best friend, but my role model as well. Seeing her grow up, finish school, progress through her career, get married, and start her family has been such a joy. She has been endlessly supportive of me and someone I always know will be cheering me on. I'd like to keep going, but if I do this entire page would be full of text. I'm so honored to have Gabbi as my Matron of Honor and I can't wait for everyone to meet her!

Rachel Pauley

Bridesmaid

My very first friend! Rachel is my awesome sister that has stuck with me through thick and thin. She is not only an amazing sister, but she is also a wonderful wife and mother. I have learned so much from her. Rachel has been with me through every phase of my life and I can't wait to have her by my side at the wedding!

Sonya Roberts

Bridesmaid

Sonya precepted me during my first nursing job. We hit it off immediately and have been friends ever since. Even though we no longer work together, we still talk almost every day. I know she is someone I can always count on. We are two peas in a pod and I am so excited to have her up at the alter with me!

Wes Thompson

Best Man

My earliest memories with Wes was when we were on the Atlanta Braves little league baseball team together when we were 8 or 9 years old. We came dead last in the season with zero wins, but I do remember playing in the sand in the deep outfield. Wes and I have tons of memories from high school, college and even recent times now that he lives in the Springs. Some highlights include ding-dong ditching people in his old neighborhood, reading History books together during sleepovers (big nerds), fact-checking our high school teachers (we were those kids in class...), playing Counterstrike and Call of Duty (bots with ping?) etc, etc. No one else would be the perfect pick to be my best man and I am looking forward to the speech!

Scott Grimes

Groomsman

Scott is the best next-door neighbor I've ever had, and after making eye-contact a bunch of times I finally invited him out climbing one day and we've been good friends ever since. We've shared tons of fun days craggin' at Shelf Road, Turkey Rock and lots of other areas and his voice kinda sounds like David Spade! While he is one of those pesky Texans-turned-Coloradans, I am hopeful he stays so that I can continue to have regular climbing partners - oh, and yes I guess he is a pretty awesome dude outside of climbing. He is a family man at heart which I admire, and someone I can count on.

Jon Chapman

Groomsman

I first met Jon a couple years ago on a local hike with a backpacking Meetup group and I was asking him questions about trad climbing and thinking to myself "does this guy not want to talk to me?" Maybe I was overly-anxious and too giddy. Sooner or later, Jon became one of my main climbing partners (besides Scotty) and we've shared great memories climbing at Pikes Peak, Rocky Mountain National Park and elsewhere. I also took my first Utah climbing trip with Jon in 2024 where we climbed in Moab and Indian Creek. I've appreciated our friendship and I hope he doesn't move to Reno!
