Growing up on the same street, Adrian and Katie really didn't think too much of each other. The Chestnuts lived two doors down, and the Hindleys were literally just "the kids down the road!" (note: they are 4 1/2 years apart). It wasn't until Summer of 2013 that they actually had a conversation. It was a Saturday night outside everyone's favourite bar - Bahama Mamas. As usual, Adrian was telling one of his extravagant stories to a crowd of people. Katie, also listening to the story couldn't believe how hilarious he was. After all these years, her random neighbour with the strange surname actually had something about him. She couldn't believe it. Now, while this was all very exciting for her, it did take some time to convince Adrian that she, too, was hilarious. They got there eventually. In January 2014, they made it official.
