June 24th, 2026! I won’t be there, but I’ve heard all about it because these humans talk very loudly. My parents plan to leave me on June 22nd and fly to Seattle then drive to Ellensburg...wish I could breathe that fresh Washington air too.
Brick House Gardens and Nursery in Ellensburg, WA. A place I sadly will not be sniffing that day. Please sniff the scenery on my behalf. I guess they really liked this place and that it checked all their boxes or something for what they wanted. If it was me, I would just choose an open field with lots of tennis balls as decoration.
Nope! No tiny humans this time. The wedding is adults-only, which honestly makes sense, because weddings are long and kids get bored and start dropping things I would’ve happily eaten. Enjoy a night out! I’ll be home too… also not invited… so we can all be dramatic together.
Early. Humans move slow, and you’ll need time to find your seat and admire everything. I would recommend arriving between 2:30-2:45pm. I won’t be there to herd you.
I wont be driving there, but my parent's Event Planner texted me the following. The venue is located approximately 15 minutes outside of Ellensburg and is set in a more rural area. There are no nearby stores or services, so we recommend grabbing anything you may need before heading out to the venue. Gates will open promptly at 2:30pm for the ceremony to start at 3pm. Please plan your arrival accordingly, as early entry will not be available. Parking is available in the main parking lot upon arrival. If overflow parking is needed, additional parking will be available—please follow the curve of the road past the wood fence, then take the immediate right before the road fully curves. A gate will be opened if overflow parking is required, and signage or attendants will be available to assist. Please note that the surrounding area is home to abundant wildlife, including deer, elk, and pets, which are frequently active throughout the day and especially in the evening. Animals can appear suddenly, even during daylight hours, so we kindly ask that guests drive carefully and remain alert, particularly after dark.
Yes, lots of it. Cocktail hour, dinner stations, and dessert. Sadly, zero of it is dog-friendly. Probably another reason I wasn’t invited.
Oh yes, there will be a full open bar. You lucky humans get soft drinks, beer, seltzers and cocktails, all the good stuff. Meanwhile, I drink the same water every day. No variety. No fun little “signature drink.” Not that I’m bitter. Enjoy responsibly… and maybe take a sip in my honor.
