Our Story

Gods PERFECT Timing

Our story began back in 2020, long before either of us realized what God was quietly putting into motion. Our parents—who grew up together—reconnected at a friend’s 50th birthday party (shoutout to Jennifer for unknowingly setting our whole love story in motion!). Not long after, Sal and I started bumping into each other at parties, outings and cookouts. In those early days, it was nothing more than quick hellos and small talk. We were in completely different places in life, and neither of us imagined anything more than a friendly connection. But with each encounter, that simple hello grew into easy conversation, shared humor, and eventually a genuine friendship. Over the years, we made countless memories together without even realizing how special they were—dinners with friends, concerts, Miller Lites with our dads, Bible study at my house, church on Sundays and plenty of moments filled with laughter. People around us sensed a spark long before we did. Sal says he knew from the moment he hit the top step at Barley Garden that night - but from my end, I swore up and down it was purely innocent… until the timing finally aligned. Everything changed at the 2025 summer NASCAR race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The air was cool, the fans were loud, and as Chase Elliott crossed the finish line for the win (WOAH for the #9 Car), Sal kissed me for the first time. That moment shifted everything. Three weeks later, he asked me to be his girlfriend. We officially started dating on 07/26/2025 and were engaged by 11/29/2025. When God writes the story, things fall into place quickly—and beautifully. From a chance reunion between our parents to a kiss at a NASCAR race, every step of our journey shows God’s timing at work. We are so grateful, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people we love most. “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” – Psalm 27:13‑14
