Months before they met, Matt was always interested in Chesley (unfortunate typo)

For Matt’s senior spring break they went to Gatlinburg, TN

They celebrated Matt’s graduation from JMU in 2019, beginning 2 years of long distance

In 2020, Matt added Shooter to the family

Many trips to the OBX have been made

Many holidays were spent with family, Matt was coined the family photographer. Seven years later it sticks

They celebrated Matt’s sister’s wedding in 2020 at the same venue. The Stables at Sturgeon Creek

Long distance was now over with Chesley graduating in 2021

That Summer they traveled for two more weddings

For Matt’s birthday in 2021 the two celebrated at the Outlaw Music Festival in Virginia Beach. Cracker Barrel breakfast also happened this weekend

In July of 2022 they broke ground on what would be their first home

In December 2022 they had moved into their house and welcomed 1.5 pound Arlo to the family

During a family trip to Charleston,SC in 2023, they celebrated their 7th year together

More trips and new experiences were had

On July 28, 2023 Matt proposed to Chesley. This was a year after they started building their home. Matt says he hadn't planned to do it then, he decided he needed to then on his commute home

They recently took a trip to Puerto Rico to celebrate a friend’s wedding

They enjoyed a once in a lifetime trip
