Our Engagement The afternoon of December 5, 2021, Jay planned us an afternoon ice skating at Rockefeller Center. I have always wanted to go ice skating at Christmas time in New York and I was so excited to finally do so! Little did I know what else he had planned. . He had told me he purchased VIP tickets and there was a photographer that will be taking photos of us. As they called everyone off the ice, so they could clean it, he told me they were going to take our photo by the tree. I thought nothing of it, just told him to hurry so we can get off. Well, as we were the only ones on the ice, I hear our song play “I Like Me Better.” I thought it was so sweet as it was just our 5 year anniversary. As we were dancing on the ice, no one around just us..he told me to look up. I saw my family and his and all of our friends and as I turned around, I was in complete shock. There he was, asking me to spend the rest of our lives together. It couldn’t have been anymore perfect.
