Please RSVP as soon as possible!
Our wedding is technically 2 days long, starting on Sunday (09/06) and ending on Monday (09/07). However, our main wedding date is on Monday with both our Hindu and Christian ceremonies. The other days will consist of other Indian wedding functions.
Each event has a recommended dress code and some color palettes (excluding our ceremonies), but please know these are COMPLETELY OPTIONAL—your attendance is what matters most to us! The Attire Guide page includes more details, inspiration, and color examples. We also have some purchasing links in another question called "How do I know what to wear to the Indian functions?" with some more specific details for guests interested!
We have a block reservation at the SpringHill Suites in Maple Grove, MN near the Salunke residence - please see the 'Travel' page for more details!
We kindly request that guests arrive as early as possible for each function. With a full schedule of celebrations throughout the weekend, arriving early will help events start on time and allow everyone to fully enjoy the festivities together!
If you are interested in wearing traditional attire (again, completely optional!), we have some examples of terms and a more in-depth guide on our Attire Guide page. We have a large room set up with all the space and supplies needed for guests to comfortably change from their Indian attire in the Shaadi to any American/Western outfits for the Christian ceremony - there will be plenty of space and time for anyone to change and make any adjustments needed between events!
We'll have photographers at every event to capture all the special moments, but we're also setting up backdrops and photo booths for guests to enjoy on their own. Please note that our photographers will be focused on covering the events themselves, so the photo booths are your space to have fun and snap your own memories! Keep an eye out for QR codes throughout the events — they'll link you to a shared drive where you can upload your photos too.
The venues are approximately 45-50 minutes apart - please plan accordingly! Please see our ‘Travel’ page for more details.
