Question

Will guests be required to wear masks?

Answer

UPDATE! Alameda County - Will lift universal mask requirements for most indoor public settings beginning Wednesday, February 16. Alameda County's local face covering order remains in effect until February 16, 2022. We will follow the local guidelines. Please check the local guidelines since this seems to change all the time.

Question

Will guests be required to be vaccinated?

Answer

The vessel is subject to the county regulations of Alameda. Right now, Alameda does not require proof of vaccination, but this is subject to change at any time. Currently the cities of Oakland, Berkeley, San Francisco and Contra Costa counties require proof of vaccination to dine at restaurants.

Question

Will guests be required to show negative COVID test?

Answer

We are asking everyone to test before the event, and we will have a small number of self-testing kits available at any time if anyone suddenly feels ill and cannot find a self-testing kit. You can get free covid tests from the government. Here is the link special.usps.com. You can also get a free PCR test at this website www.testthepeople.org. Please be sure with the PCR test to give yourself at least three days to get the results.

Question

Will guests be able to socially distance themselves?

Answer

Absolutely! With 4 levels, and several outdoor options (bring your jackets, gloves and beanies!) there should be plenty of space to distance per guests comfort levels.

Question

Will there be outdoor dining options?

Answer

Please reach out right away (Cheerhyl@gmail.com OR text 510-641-6088) if you would like to dine near the open windows which will have a strong cross breeze. This area is an upper floor away from the main dining floor. Advance notice is needed to prepare the proper amount of tables.

Question

What if I RSVP'd yes, but I am now having second thoughts?

Answer

We understand everyone has different levels of comfort and encourage anyone with second thoughts to reach out to Cheryl or Gabrielle directly. With the pandemic the choice to travel and gather is not an easy decision and plans can change suddenly. So everyone is aware, final headcount will be needed no later than Feb. 11th, but again please reach out to Cheryl or Gabrielle so they can keep a good pulse on everyone's plans.

Question

What if I get a cold and test negative, can I still come?

Answer

We ask anyone who has any symptoms of not feeling well, to please stay at home. Even with a negative COVID test we don't feel comfortable exposing our more vulnerable guests to any type of illness COVID or not COVID related. Please text 510-641-6088 if you suddenly cannot attend. We will understand and thank you for being honest.
