Much like Mobile Regional Airport, Fort Walton Beach Airport is less local, being about 1 hour and 30 minutes from the wedding location. This airport is also more likely to feature direct flights.

We suggest checking Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com to find places to stay. For closest proximity to the wedding location, check for houses in or close to Lillian, Alabama (this may include parts of Elberta and Pensacola). This would also put you only about 20 minutes from the beach. If you are looking to stay on the beach, there are multiple options to choose from. Perdido Key Beach, FL (20 min. from wedding), Orange Beach, AL (30 min. from wedding), and Gulf Shores, AL (45 min. from wedding) are your best and closest options. Pensacola Beach, Navarre Beach, and Destin-Fort Walton Beach are also solid options, but they are about 1-1.5 hours away from the wedding location. Weather in Lillian, AL in March is typically around the 70°s. There can obviously be occasional colder (40°-50°) and warmer (+80°) days. The beach should be comfortable, but the water may be too cold to swim. Nights may get chilly. Rain along the Gulf is typically unpredictable.
