We met at the Shroyer Inn - Dayton's favorite dive bar - through a mutual friend. After several encounters and 0 moves from James, Christina decided to take matters into her own hands. Following a late night at the bar Christina got his number and asked him to dinner the next day. After some back and forth on where to go (relying on James to recommend other Dayton classics) their first date was a success and the rest is history!

After some failed attempts at a grandiose engagement (COVID, ring delays, Christina not liking her nail colors) James decided to take action. At a seemingly regular Sunday dinner with family, James enlisted the help of his nieces, Addyson and Olivia, to pop the question. In front of loved ones he *finally* asked to start our lives together.
