Cherisse and Ann have had each other's back since they were wee little girls. Spending their childhood watching Avatar the Last Airbender on repeat and making up songs on the ukelele, these girls were always together if they could help it. Ann would even walk from Independence High School to Cherisse's house in north SJ after school! These two creative nerds even went together on their first international trip without families to Australia/New Zealand as student ambassadors. Nowadays, they live in different states but their hearts are close. No special moment in Cherisse's life would be complete without her.

Nick

Nick is married to Bryant’s Sister, Ngoc, and has been a part of Bryant’s life since he was in 3rd grade. Bryant was Nick’s Bestman, and their connection is beyond just friends. Nick is also Bryant’s role model. He was introduced Bryant to many of his own hobbies, but more importantly, his different perspectives that challenged Bryant’s beliefs and ideologies. His influence on Bryant shaped him to be the man he is today. However, the biggest influence was his guidance in navigating life from a kid in 3rd grade to being an adult. Cherisse only had 1 year and 4 months as an only child until Faith came along. Being so close in age, Cherisse and Faith had a built in best friend for life (against their will). From fighting and sharing bunk beds for years, to watching Jimmy Neutron DVDs on repeat on long car rides, they spent so much time together that they can now communicate with even just a look. Their sisterhood is stronger than ever and Cherisse can't ever imagine her big day without Faith by her side.

Larry, aka, Roy Smith, is one of many cousins of Bryant, but he has always been the cousin that has always been part of Bryant’s life. Larry and Bryant have always been together since they were young. They started school in kindergarten together, went to after-school programs together, and finished college together. He has always been there for Bryant, and they grew up together as brothers. Their relationship has not always been sunshine and rainbows, but the difference between each other always strengthen their relationship. You will always hear cackling when Chesca and Cherisse get together. As childhood friends who met at church, Chesca was one of the people that brought Cherisse out of her shell as a shy little immigrant. From gushing over One Direction and screaming in the car to lose their voices on purpose, this girl always brought out Cherisse's ugly laugh accompanied with stomach cramps. As adults, their love and friendship stayed as strong as ever and you will probably see them even as grandmas sharing a knee slappin' laugh together.

Cody is Bryant’s best friend, and he has always been a family friend to Bryant’s family, but it was not until high school that Cody and Bryant became true friends. Their relationship only strengthened when they went to college and became ‘Bros’. Beers before class and beers after class. The cooking battles between the two helped develop their love of cooking and eating. The nights they spent together have made Cherisse jealous of their relationship. Growing up together, Cherisse and Tricia always had a ridiculously good time making up the randomest things (they even made up a language once). From playing Nintendo DS games in the church lobby to harmonizing to Titanium while Tricia played the piano, every moment together as friends was filled with joy. Cherisse was a quiet kid before, but Tricia was the confident and hilarious friend who was just the push she needed to be herself. Today, Tricia's not only a great friend but an amazing mom to her two cutie kids. Each of them will always be the other's cheerleader.

Matthew

Matthew was introduced to Bryant by Cody, and they only became ‘Bros’ because Bryant messed up and invited Matthew to watch him play Witcher 3. Bryant did not realize that he would stay all night as Bryant tried to romance Yennifer & Triss, now the rest is history. If Bryant and Cody’s friendship was not enough, they had Matthew and together, they become The Crew, ‘we call them the crew by the way.’ Matthew is Bryant’s enabler and Bryant is Matthew’s bad influence, combined Cody suffers. “Here’s to Staying Positive and Testing Negative!” – Matthew Mazon
