Question

Where should I enter for the wedding?

Answer

Enter through the main entrance of the Joe Wheeler Resort Lodge. To your left, you will find restrooms on your way to the elevator or stairs to go to the first floor and exit to the patio.

Can we take pictures/video?

Answer

We are asking for an unplugged ceremony for all our guests to have everybody fully present in the moment. However, you are welcome to take all the pictures you would like during the reception immediately following the ceremony.

What side should I sit on?

Answer

We love you all and request that you don't pick a side. We are becoming one family.

What should I wear?

Answer

This is a formal event, however, we are just happy you are joining us to celebrate. If you would like to color coordinate, our theme colors are black and gold.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You may, but please contact one of us so we may ensure we have enough seats and food for everyone.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are absolutely welcome, but child care will not be available. You know your kids best to make that decision. Please make sure you RSVP for them as well if they are attending.

Are pets allowed at the park?

Answer

Dogs are permitted in designated day use areas and dog friendly facilities if on a leash and attended at all times (dogs may not be left unattended at any time in the cabin, cottage or lodge unless in pet carrier or crated). Dogs are not allowed in any other building, at the beach or swimming pool. We ask that pets are not brought to the ceremony nor reception.
