We're Getting Married!

Josiah and Cherish first met on April 2nd, 2023, at Blessed Hope Chapel. It was Cherish’s family’s first time visiting the church, and Josiah couldn’t help but notice the new girl just a few rows ahead. He told his sister Holly to invite her to the young adults group, and thankfully, she agreed to come. Josiah and Cherish hit it off quickly. Their playful banter and constant flirting became impossible to ignore. Then, one summer night, Josiah decided to take a leap and ask Cherish out on a date… but to his surprise, she said “no.” It was a heartbreaking moment, he was sure he had it in the bag. But don’t worry, their story doesn’t end there. A few months later, Cherish had a change of heart. She realized she missed the one person who always laughed at her terrible jokes. Soon after, they went snowboarding together in Big Bear, where they both fell...literally and figuratively. They left the mountain with a few bruises, mild concussions and the certainty that they were finally ready for that long-awaited first date. Nearly two years later, after countless adventures, a near-drowning in Laguna, skydiving, and growing in their faith as they pursue Jesus, Cherish is finally saying “yes” again but this time to forever. Josiah’s thrilled, Cherish is stoked, and everyone’s just hoping their future involves fewer ER visits and safety hazards.
