One random day in October 2021, Cherise and Michael's paths crossed inside the four walls of a little restaurant. Little did they know that one simple interaction with an exchange of just a few words would keep them connected forever. The very next day Michael took the plunge and asked Cherise to go out for a drink. Although her friends said she was crazy because she barely knew the guy, she eagerly said yes! They enjoyed a night out, shared tons of laughs, and hours of conversation. They enjoyed their time together so much, that they started to see each other regularly. After a month and a half of long talks, tons of laughter, and spending just about any free time they had together, Michael asked Cherise to be his girlfriend. Their days became filled with all the little things they'd been missing. They were head over heels for each other and consumed with a love so great after such a short amount of time, most would say they were practically inseparable. Fast forward six months later, then came a twist in the story--Michael and Cherise got the news that they were expecting a baby girl. While the unexpected news brought about many emotions, their undying support for each other got them through it. With the news of this beautiful new addition, also came many new and exciting experiences for the couple, one being them getting to search for their first apartment together, which they would move into a few months later to prepare for the newest member of their family. November 19th, 2022 they welcomed their beautiful baby girl Aubree into this world. The next few months were not easy, as they weathered through the physical and emotional roller coaster of being new parents. There were highs and lows but they went through every step of the way together, creating an even stronger bond and a love so great, it would never stop growing. October of 2023 they got even more exciting news that their family of three was growing into a family of four. May 19th, 2024, they would give birth to their second baby girl, Averee. Not only did they grow as a family, but also as a couple. They continue to encounter new life experiences with each other everyday and cherish every moment that comes with raising a family. May 5th, of 2024 marked a big step in their love story, Michael surprised Cherise with what she thought was just a regular date to spend some quality time with each other before the birth of their baby girl. Little did she know that after spending the day together, enjoying a delicious waterfront lunch, and enjoying her favorite pregnancy craving, dessert (a chocolate chip cookie dough shake to be exact), while overlooking the sunset, Michael would end the date with taking her on a romantic walk down Crystal Cove Beach and get down on one knee. She had prayed to find a love like this one and she got not only that, but so much more. They say a soulmate is your missing piece, someone who will give you never ending love, someone with whom you feel the most complete, and someone who is a best friend and a love all wrapped in one. And it is safe to say Cherise and Michael have found that in one another. Now, they get to gear up for their happily ever after.
