Do you have any hotel recommendations?

We are staying at the JW Marriott, however there are many other hotel and vacation rental options at varying price points. The Marriott next door is all inclusive, the JW is not. It is a 15 minute drive from the airport to the hotel, and a 23 minute drive to the restaurant.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Renting a car is optional. The JW Marriott is in the middle of the hotel zone. The north end is busy w shops and restaurants, it is a 13 min drive (3.5 miles) from the hotel to that area. The south end of the hotel zone is closer to the airport. The hotel offers an airport shuttle. The restaurant is a 23 min car/taxi/uber ride from the hotel. If you choose to rent a car there is free parking at the hotel.
