Travel Note
For everyone driving from the DMV area, it's about a 5-hour drive. If you plan on driving to North Carolina on Friday the best time to leave is between 10am and 11am or after 8pm (you want to get through Richmond before or after rush hour). If driving to North Carolina on Saturday early morning would be best. Keep in mind most hotel check-in is 3pm and the doors to the ceremony space will close at 4:20pm.
