Let's Celebrate!

David, a Charlotte, North Carolina guy, and Cherie, a California girl, were living in completely different worlds. The odds of us meeting were slim—until Chick-fil-A played matchmaker. In 2022, Cherie joined the Supply Chain team at Chick-fil-A, and just two years later, David joined the team serving with New Restaurant Openings. Our paths finally crossed at a random Monday morning devotion when Cherie introduced an Operator visiting from out of state. That’s when David first noticed her—and, of course, he checked for a ring (spoiler alert: there wasn’t one). A couple of texts later, and our first date was set for August 31, 2024. Although Cherie had an "appointment" and David's car was in the shop, there was hope for a second date. Fast forward to our third date, and we found ourselves binge-watching travel vlogs for a solid five hours. Apparently, we were meant to wander the world together! Funny enough, we almost never met! We were both on Hinge, but our “preferences” didn’t line up, so we missed each other completely. But the Lord clearly had other plans for us! From that first date at Bellwood Coffee, we both knew there was something special. And with the Lord's help, here we are, starting forever together.
