We've not set up a specific hotel for people to go to. If you want to be close to the venue, there are a few hotels at the intersection of Interstate 75 and Emory Road that are as close as you can get. But if you'd rather be closer to downtown and really experience what Knoxville is like, there are some good options there - both the bride and groom work downtown! we love it! We don't have specific recommendations but we can talk you through the options. Be aware if you're aiming for downtown that the Rossini Festival is the weekend of the wedding and so traffic at the Hotel Oliver, Hilton, and Hyatt Place, among others, will be difficult.
We have a registry set up right here on Zola! Check it out! We also set up an online registry on Amazon. Plus, if you want to go somewhere in person, we know Walmart is convenient for most people, so we did that, too.
Six feet, seven inches tall, or at least, that's how tall he was the last time he was measured. He's actually been rumored to be slightly taller than other people who are 6'7", but he's not found a nurse willing to measure him in 20 years.

Heartland Meadows includes a barn that's appropriate for holding the ceremony indoors in case Thor graces us with his presence on the day of the ceremony. We will be prepared for any number of weather scenarios to keep you as comfortable as possible. Please just do your best to attend. We'll do our best to make the day memorable.
