I was working at Hooters for a couple of years while in school. Joshua was a “regular” he had his own table and the same server he would sit with. He never sat with me (I know rude, right) but I would always stop over and give him a hug and chat. He always asked how I was doing and about Cash. One day, I was off the clock drinking with some friends and he came in, we chatted and once he found out I was single he scribbled his name and number on napkin. I left it in the side door of my car, flash forward a week later and I came across the napkin. He says I iced him out for a week, I say it was destiny.
It was Cash’s birthday weekend and Joshua’s parents were in town. I was distracted on last minute touches for the party. We planned a nice dinner on the deck at the Boathouse at Rocketts Landing in Richmond. I was told we were going upstairs to take pictures before going to Shindigz. Over looking the most perfect sunset, Joshua showed me a video of him asking Cash for permission to marry me. If it couldn’t get any better, after I said yes, I turn around and all of our family and close friends came out! It truly was the best day ever. We never made it to Shindigz though.
Our utmost concern is the safety and well-being of our family and friends. Therefore, we are closely monitoring the CDC and state guidelines with the COVID-19 pandemic. As of right now, we plan to move forward with our wedding on 11.21.20, as we know things may change. Please continue to check back for updates as we may have to make some tough decisions, those decisions will prioritize the health of our guest. Please be patient as we communicate with our numerous vendors involved. Regardless of the outcome we know that your love and support will help make this day the most meaningful day in our lives. With Love, Cherese & Joshua
