We met during a casual outing in Downtown Sacramento (on K St. to be exact). We shared mutual friends so, of course, they introduced us. It took some time for us to actually go on a date but the wait was worth it. When we finally went on a date, the rest was history.

Every year we try to make a trip to Disneyland. This trip ended up being extra special because it ended with an engagement! Dominicque coordinated a session with a caricature artist where she painted the most perfect surprise proposal photo. A crowd gathered to say congratulations and secretly record the proposal + the rain made the moment even more magical.
