Our wedding will be held about 10 miles outside of Portland, at the Abernethy Center in Oregon City. While you're welcome to stay in Oregon City to be close to the main celebration, we recommend staying in Portland if you’d like to experience more of the city’s food, creativity, and scenic beauty during your visit. Our top recommendation is booking a vacation rental (such as a home, condo, or apartment) through Airbnb or Vacasa, etc. This is an especially great option if you’re traveling with a group or reuniting with some old friends! Please see our suggestions for the Portland neighborhoods we suggest for vacation rentals below. They’re all walkable and full of great shops and restaurants. If a hotel is a better option for you, there are many great options in downtown Portland and near the Convention Center. These areas are close to restaurants, markets, and public transportation. Please see our recommendations for those below.
