Cher and Ryan met (despite all pandemic odds) in 2020 on a dating app called Hinge. Ryan initially reached out to Cher on the app by replying, "BOOOO!" to her prompt on her love for The Ohio State Football. Despite this rocky start, they went on their first date at a local Mexican restaurant a few days later. Since then, Cher and Ryan have adopted a German Shepherd (Archie), ran their first 5ks together, swam with whale sharks in Mexico, hiked up Dunn River Water Falls in Ocho Rios, got engaged on a beach in Jamacia, and argued a whole lot about college football.
