Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators.
Please join us down by the pond at the Nanaimo Golf Club for our ceremony at 3:30pm. The Nanaimo Golf Club is a spectacular course - the perfect setting for a wedding. Jeremy, and most of our groomsmen, are members of the club and frequent this spot every weekend!! Please be advised that this will be an unplugged ceremony with no phones allowed. We have hired award winning photographers, and videographers, to capture our special day and would be happy to share our photos and video with you after the wedding. We ask that you be present with us during this time and PLEASE ensure your phone is on silent! There is plenty of parking at the Nanaimo Golf Club, down the street on Highland Blvd, or at the Brooks Landing plaza. With current COVID restrictions, there will be no bar facilities open prior to or after the ceremony unfortunately. We are hoping to do a champagne toast after the ceremony should restrictions allow, with family photos to follow so please stick around!

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.
Due to the current COVID restrictions, we will not be having a typical reception as planned. We invite you to join us at the Mother of the Bride's home for a casual backyard dinner and cocktail party after the ceremony. 'Dinner' will be served around 6pm and will consist of a variety of appetizer style items that can be enjoyed and grazed on throughout the evening. There will be wine, an open bar, and non-alcoholic beverages available however we encourage you to bring your own beverages if there is anything special you prefer. The party will be both inside and outside with lots of space to move around. Inside will feature a poker table, dart board, and two pool tables. Outside will feature tables for sitting should you choose, a dance floor, and later on in the evening we will bring out patio heaters and propane fire pits. This isn't a traditional wedding with planned speeches, dances, cake cutting, garter toss, etc. Think of it as the most formal house party you've ever been to.
