Question

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

There is very limited street parking in the French Quarter. We recommend that you get dropped off at the wedding venue. If you are driving, the nearest public parking lot is at 535 Chartres Street: www.premiumparking.com/P149

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 6:00 PM at the latest. There will be drinks and snacks available to enjoy before the ceremony begins.

Question

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

The wedding reception will end by 11:00 PM. For the after-party, we will go to a bar on Frenchman Street (TBD) -- approximately a 15-minute walk away.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We kindly ask that you wear semi-formal attire: gowns and tuxedos welcome as well as cocktail dresses and suits. Many of the streets in the French Quarter are cobblestone, so choose your footwear accordingly. For inspiration, see our Pinterest board: https://pin.it/6fz9AKSdO

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to the venue's space limitations, we do not have space for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Please do not bring a plus one unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome at the welcome drinks event?

Answer

Anna's is a 21+ venue, so unfortunately children cannot attend this event.

Question

Are kids welcome at the wedding?

Answer

Although we adore your children, due to space constraints we ask that only adults attend.

Question

Are kids welcome at the Au Revoir Brunch?

Answer

Yes! We would love to see your little ones! Please bring them if you can.

Question

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

New Orleans in September will be very hot and very humid during the daytime (88 -- it's tropical), but temperatures can be moderate during the night time (72). We recommend that you bring light and breathable clothing.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding venue has both indoor and outdoor spaces. Weather permitting, the ceremony and dancing will take place outdoors and dinner and drinks will be served indoors.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes; please include your food allergy with the RSVP and we will work with the venue to make sure that you have safe options and that ingredients are clearly marked.

Question

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We'll serve light snacks from 5:00-6:00 and a buffet-style dinner and dessert. Sylvain serves southern food; there will be vegetarian options. The venue serves beer, wine, and liquor.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Hell yeah. Please bring cash to tip the lovely waitstaff of Sylvain.

Question

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I am in town for your wedding?

Answer

Yes! Please see the "New Orleans" tab.
