We are so excited to celebrate our new journey with our treasured family & friends!

Once upon a time there were two people who knew that they were still much life to live and wanted to find someone to live it with. There was a guy named Jim and he decided to take the plunge at dating again. So one day, Jim met Cheody and was smitten right away! This lady named Cheody, who had been a widow for sevenish years & also decided she was finally ready to date. When she met Jim, but noticed Jim’s towering height over her (she’s barely 5’0 & he’s 6’2) she immediately said “please don't bother calling, you're just too tall for me, sorry!" Jim was wasn’t going to let her end things that easily, so he responded, “well at one time I was 6’7” and now shrunk to 6’2, so if you wait just a little bit longer, there’s a chance that I could shrink down to a more acceptable height for you!!” Cheody couldn’t stop laughing at Jim’s comment! She was charmed and intrigued. He was handsome with a great sense of humor, a conservative, educated and a retired Aerospace Executive, what a catch! So thus began their friendship and the daily night calls that extended into the wee hours of the morning sometimes up until 3am! Then many more fun dates, meeting each other’s family and friends...late nights filled with karaoke and laughs; and found that it’s never too late to fall in love and find happiness! Jim ultimately got down on one knee, played “From this Moment” by Shania Twain on 9/5/19 and Cheody said yes! Their story proves that no matter what stage you are in life, companionship, finding someone to share your ups, support you through your downs, is not only important, but vital to living a full and meaningful life!
