What is the dress code?

Your presence is the greatest gift, but if you'd like to contribute in another way, we've set up a wishing well for contributions to help us continue building a life filled with joy.

Where is the best place to park at the ceremony?

Answer

The best place to park is the Domain Carpark, Sydney. The ceremony is only a 10 minute walk from the carpark.

What is there to do between the finish of the ceremony and the start of the reception?

Answer

There are lots of things to do in Sydney! You can go grab a bite to eat or a drink at one of the local restaurants or pubs. You could also explore the beautiful city, take a walk in the Botanical Gardens or go shopping. If you are feeling a little tired, you could also book a hotel which you can check into and relax in or even have a quick nap!

What time does the reception start?

Answer

The reception commences at 6pm. There will be canapès served until 6:30pm followed by a 3-course dinner.

What drinks are available at the reception?

Answer

At the reception, there will be complimentary water, soft drinks, juice, tea or coffee, white wine, and beer. There will also be a bar where you can purchase spirits and other drinks.

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The ceremony is located at Flower Bed Lawn in the Royal Botanical Gardens. The Gardens are located at Mrs Macquaries Rd, Sydney NSW 2000. The reception is going to be held at the Darling Room, Dockside Venues. The Darling Room is located at 2 Wheat Rd, Sydney NSW 2000. Both venues are wheelchair accessible.

Are the venues indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is an outdoor venue and the reception is an indoor venue.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately due to the size of the venues we are unable to accommodate additional guests.

What if I have a dietry restriction?

Answer

If you have a dietry restriction, please let us know as soon as possible so we can ensure that you will be catered for.

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately due to the number of guests, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding. We thank you for understanding.
