We’re getting married!

We met in Rehovot, Israel in August 2017, while Harry was coaching football. Their first date was at Landver Cafe, Chen's favorite restaurant, where she changed a whole menu item into one she liked. On the first date Chen was shy, quiet and unassuming, which we later found out is not the case! Harry also stated he wanted to stay in Israel for two more years, which also was not the case! Even though, they made a great connection and family was important to both of them. Harry's first Danon experience was only a month after they started dating on Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) with close to forty family members. Chen was quite nervous, but little did she know Harry enjoys plenty of food and a good time. From that point on, Harry was accepted as one of theirs. Harry enjoyed the holidays due to an enormous quantity of food, especially meat! After time, Chen and Harrison realized that their time in Israel was coming to a close, and they made the huge step of coming to America! While here, there have been many challenges that have come their way, but together they worked through them! On a trip together back to Israel, Harry decided it was time to pull the trigger and propose! On a very warm December day, Harry carried (and hid from Chen) a ring for over 72 hours from Florida to Columbus, Ohio to New York and then from New York to Akko, Israel all the way to Rosh Hanikra. After multiple times of Chen telling Harry to take off his jacket (due to Harry's sweating profusely) and Harry telling her to leave him alone, it was time. Finally there on that beautiful day on the rocks of the Mediterranean, they decided they would be together forever. After many trials and tribulations, they have finally come to this day, which they are so excited about. Due to Covid, their special day was moved from Israel to Orlando, but even so the important thing is they can now do it with family and friends, who we love dearly. Chen and Harrison hope you enjoy this special day with them!!
