Our story began in Washington, DC in October of 2018. Arz was in town visiting with his cousins, where Samantha was attending the same retreat. After spending a beautiful day touring the city with Samantha as his tour guide, we exchanged numbers and our love story began.

After staying up countless nights on the phone, video chats and messages back and forth, planning weekend trips to see each other, we knew we had something special even though we had limited time together. As though distance between Maryland and New Jersey wasn't enough, Arz was deployed to Africa for the year of 2019. We adapted to the change, writing letters and staying up late to hear each others voices. By December of 2019 we had survived our first deployment together.

Finally having him back in the states, Arz took Samantha to the location of one of the first dates they had together. There along with family and friends Arz got down on one knee and popped the question, and Samantha said yes! Over one year later with a lot of plans postponed we cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with you this October!
