We decided on forever

We first met many years ago at Toby Keith’s Bar with mutual friends. After that night we started following each other on social media but nothing ever came of it. Nine years later, we matched with each other on a dating website and finally got the chance to reconnect. After a week of talking Evan still hadn't asked me out. I decided to go for it and asked if we wanted to join my mom and I at brunch to watch football. When he text me that morning and actually showed up I was shocked and impressed. I mean what guy goes on a first date with a girl and her mom? The answer is the best guy. I'm so glad he showed up that day and we fit perfectly from that day forward.
