When should I arrive?

Our ceremony will begin at 9:30 AM. Because this is a mountain location, we recommend giving yourself extra travel time.

To avoid crowds at Trillium Lake during ceremony.

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony will take place outside by the lake. Guests will be standing for approximately 20 minutes, though limited seating will be available for those who need it.

Is there seating available?

We will have a small number of chairs available for family members and guests who are unable to stand comfortably for the ceremony. Seating is available at pavilion for the celebration following the lakeside ceremony.

What will the weather be like?

September in the mountains can be unpredictable! Expect cool morning temperatures with the possibility of sun, wind, or light rain. We recommend bringing: * A light layer * Comfortable shoes * Sunglasses

We’re celebrating National Cheeseburger Day with a burger bar reception 🍔 sides will be available.

Cell service can be limited near Mount Hood, so we recommend downloading directions in advance.

Yes, parking will be available near the group shelter. More details and a map will be shared before the wedding.

Is there a parking fee?

Answer

Yes — because the wedding is taking place at Trillium Lake, there is a $10 day-use parking fee per car. If you have an Annual Northwest Forest Pass, bring it along! Carpooling is encouraged.

What happens if it rains?

We’ll celebrate rain or shine! We have a backup plan in place if mountain weather decides to surprise us.
