Their love story began at Texas Tech! They met through a mutual friend in 2015. After becoming good friends, Alex decided to ask Chelsi on a date - church and Chili’s. They have been together ever since! Over the past 6 years they have been blessed to be able to travel together, graduate with their Bachelor’s degrees together, and adopted two adorable fur babies. In January 2019, Chelsi began her Master’s in Geosciences at Texas Tech and Alex began his personal finance career in Fort Worth. After balancing long distance for a few years, they are now living together in Fort Worth! On May 14, 2021 Alex surprised Chelsi with a proposal at Memorial Circle on the Texas Tech campus just after she graduated with her Master’s degree.
