Maid of Honor
My friendship with Nicole started in Greece of all places! We were there representing Penn State at a brass seminar. After that, it was apparent that we needed to be friends. We were inseparable while being horn majors and in the Blue Band together. Since our college years, Nicole moved to Tennessee, but we still talk to each other every day! What a best friend she's been throughout the years and I'm so proud to call her my Maid of Honor!
Best Man
Clayton and I met when we were in kindergarten. We became close friends later in elementary school. In junior high and high school, we spent many Saturday nights playing video games, eating Tontino’s Pizza Rolls, and listening to classic rock together. Although, we went to different universities after high school, we have remained very close friends. Clayton and I have supported each other through a lot and basically grew up together. In my mind, Clayton has been my best man for a very long time.
Bridesmaid
I met Kristen through her husband, Shaun. Shaun and I are both music teachers in the county in which we attended a new music teacher orientation. As him and I talked, we had things in common. We are both from Pennsylvania and his girlfriend at the time, Kristen, went to Penn State. Since 2015, that group of music friends have hung out every week. Kristen was adopted into the group and has been a great friend to me in Virginia. It's crazy to think that her and I went to Penn State together but never met there. It took 9 years and moving to Virginia to meet her. So glad I did!
Groomsman
I met Spencer in the band room at Roosevelt Junior High School. Our friendship was formed through the comradery of playing trombone in band together for almost 10 years. During college, we lived together as roommates during several summers. Our sometimes awkward and nerdy personalities fit perfectly together. We talk to each other on a daily basis and are very close despite not being able to see each other as often as we would like.
Bridesmaid
Kate is Keenan's sister. I've known this lovely lady for six years! During the time when I first met her as a high school student until now, as a young adult, I've watched her grow into a confident and beautiful person. It'll be great having her as a sister-in-law and sharing memories in the future.
Groomsman
I have known Trever since junior high school. Trever is one of the most kind and empathic people that I know. We both share the common experience of working in mental health professions. Our conversations can range from discussing the implementation of therapeutic techniques to who is the strongest character in Dragonball Z. I deeply appreciate this aspect of our friendship. Knowing that background, it is also important to note that he gave me my first black eye when we were in junior high school. However that is a story for another time…
