Wedding Party

Kayla Newman

Matron of Honor

Kayla was one of the first people I met when I moved to Wyoming. She and I taught together at my little rural school. She soon became more of a sister than a coworker. She is the mother of our ring bearer Mr. Burke ( I love getting to be his Auntie). Kayla and her husband Nick have been apart of our relationship from the very beginning, in fact, they were our double date on our very first date. Kayla is one of the kindest people I have ever met and I couldn't imagine saying " I do " without her by my side.

Remington Burley

Best Man

I met Rem when I was in the fourth grade at 4J. We grew up only 200 yards from each other, if you couldn't find me at my house I was definitely at his. We showed sheep together in 4H, participated in Decca and we’ve been best friends ever since. We were like gas and fire when we got together except we never got into any trouble together or got caught and we never burnt anything down either! I'm very lucky and fortunate to be able to call him my best man and best friend.

Angela Vaira

Maid of Honor

Angela and I have been friends for several years. We met in college at Montana State and have been great friends ever since. There is never a dull moment with Ang around, her laughter and sarcasm lights up any room she walks into. I'm thankful for all of our fun filled road trips and adventures. She has always been there for me through thick and thin and I'm blessed to call her my best friend.

Rick Comer

Groomsman

Rick and I met in the 7th grade..... I didn't like him at first but after spending a lot of time with him he kind of grew on me. We soon became good friends. Some of my many favorite memories is being with Rick when we shot his first antelope, buck deer, and elk. He's a guy you can always count on. He might look gruff and intimidating but he is just a giant teddy bear! He has a laugh and a hug that can make any one smile and immediately turn their frown upside down I am honored to call him my groomsmen.

Stefanie VanDeHey

Bridesmaid

I'm blessed to call you my sister, but I also get to call you my friend. You are such a goofball and I love your quick-wittedness. You are a beautiful strong young women who sets her goals high and I admire you for that. I am thankful for always having someone to talk to, to share my frustrations, my joys and my accomplishments. I couldn't imagine saying " I do " without her by my side.

Elijsha (Toad) Eckhardt

Groomsman

Toady is my little brother he's been there with me for everything. I've known him since day one of his life and from what my dad tells me I wasn't to thrilled to be bringing him home from the hospital. His first 16 years of life where a little rough as a I may or may not haven been kinda mean to him, but that all changed when I went to college. I came home for Christmas break and he had grown to be taller than I was. Needless to say, my payback was coming. He made up for 16 years of being picked on in a matter of weeks. I probably deserved most of it! Three years ago we went on an elk hunt together and it was a truly amazing experience. I was able to harvest the biggest bull I have ever taken and my brother was right next to me when it happened. I'm so glad he's my brother and groomsman.

Kirstin Lee

Bridesmaid

Kirstin and I met in the ninth grade, we sat together in our FFA Ag class and the story has never ended. We've been through a lot together traveling to far off lands, college, long distances, heart break and love. You are my oldest and dearest friend. Your smile lights up every room you walk into and your laugh always makes me laugh. You have a heart of gold and I'm so thankful for all of our years of friendship, there is no way I could say "I do" without you!

Zack VanDeHey

Groomsman

Zack is the brother of the Bride. I first met him two years ago and I thought he was going to beat me me up for dating his sister, but he took it very well! I got to share an amazing hunting season with I'm this year where we really kicked it off. I was fortunate enough to take him out for his first Wyoming mule deer which turned out to be a laughing matter now (hopefully). He shot and hit a really nice deer and I thought heck I'll just shoot it in the neck real fast and we wont have to track it, turns out I'm not as great of a shot as I thought I was and ended up shooting a horn off his deer.A few curse words were said by me then a real fast apology which he definitely took in stride. Thank god for taxidermists. I'm very glad he has approved of me marrying his sister and being a groomsmen.

Casey Burley

Bridesmaid

Casey and I met not long after Josh and I Started dating. Casey is Remington's ( Josh's best friend) wife. I'll never forget the evening we met, a bonfire and playing cards until far past our bedtimes. I knew right then we would become good friends. I love that your up for anything and always have a great attitude. I love that your kiddos call me Auntie. I'm so thankful for you and Remington and all the love and support you have shown Josh and I. We couldn't say " I do" without you!

I've known him since we were in fourth grade out at 4-j elementary. we spent a lot of time growing up together playing paint ball, back yard football, and a few classes in hi school! he was always cheating of of me! . he was the buddy that knew all the back roads to get to our houses way before we were legal to drive. we always spent new years at his house to celebrate his birthday and would stay up late planning grand adventures when we graduated school. I was a groomsman in his wedding and it would only be fitting that he is in mine. he has been one of my best friends growing up i couldn't think of a better person to be there with me when i say i do.

Beth Reynolds

Bridesmaid

Beth you are such a strong women and I admire how hard you work for your family. Over the passed two years we have become good friends, I love that you guys are willing to jump in the car and come fishing with us, meet up for a fun filled game night or just to hangout and enjoy each others company. I'm blessed and thankful to call you my friend.

Sean Reynolds

Groomsman

I've known Sean know for three years now. When Beth first brought him over to Rems I wasn't sure about him, but he has turned out to be a great guy. He has accompanied me on several deer hunts and we've had a blast. For hunting season two years ago he asked if he could buy a shotgun from me I told him no, but he could barrow one from me. Unbeknownst to him we had bought him one for Christmas and gave it to him a little early! I was lucky enough for him to ask me to be a groomsman in his wedding and I am glad I finally get to return the great gesture as I am so happy he can be one of mine!

Maggie Comer

Bridesmaid

Maggie and I met for the first time at her wedding. I was Josh's date. Maggie is such a joy to be around she is mischievous, quick-witted, silly and has a heart of gold. I'm thankful you walked into my life, I am so thankful for the friendship we have built.

Seth Pearce

Groomsman

Seth is my cousin. Growing up he was always a little sissy, thank God he grew out of that! He and my brother were always getting into fights and I had to save Seth. I was his guardian angel. I can't say that he wasn't my favorite cousin and I can't say that he is; for conflicting reasons of course. It seemed like I was always hanging out with more than any of my other cousins. He helped me train when I was first getting in to MMA and he was a great trainer. I was able to convince him to play rugby with me and he makes an AWESOME Rugger! I'm very glad he can stand up with me when I marry the girl of my dreams!
