Are kids invited?

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We look forward to celebrating with you at an adults only wedding & reception.

Is there transportation from the airport to the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, there will not be transportation from the airport to the ceremony site, or from the ceremony to the reception. Detroit Metro Airport has many options for rental cars if you wish to rent a car! Also, the Michigan Flyer has a bus route from the airport to East Lansing- it is about a 3 hour bus ride, due to stops along the way. If you fly into Grand Rapids, the shuttle bus from Grand Rapids Airport to East Lansing costs $7 and takes about an hour!

Can I bring a date?

As seating is limited, if your invitation says "and guest", then yes! If this is not shown on the invitation we would prefer it be just you.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal, black tie optional! Ladies, break out those floor length dresses or a dressier cocktail dress. Gentlemen, a tuxedo or a dark suit and button up dress shirt. Our wedding colors are navy, burgundy, and gold (the wedding party will have the men in navy suits and the ladies in burgundy). We tell you this so you can try your hardest not to match the wedding party!!
