Dominic and Chelsea’s journey began during their freshman year at Pacific Union College in 2017. They first connected during an unintended fire break when a wildfire in Napa County paused classes, giving them a chance to talk. Though both were a bit nervous around each other, they quickly started spending time together, hanging out nearly every day and sharing dinners. Their connection deepened, and on January 13, 2018, Dominic asked Chelsea to be his girlfriend. Their relationship has since grown through many shared experiences, including long-distance challenges. Chelsea moved to Colorado while Dominic stayed in California, but the distance didn’t stop them from staying close. In 2019, Chelsea moved back to California, and they enjoyed being together for about a year before Chelsea was accepted into dental hygiene school at Loma Linda University in 2020. This meant another period of long distance, but their bond remained strong. In 2021, Dominic moved to San Diego to continue his academic pursuits. Though they were closer, busy schedules and distance still posed challenges. However, their love continued to grow, and during a family trip to Mammoth Lakes, Dominic proposed to Chelsea, and she said yes! Now, Dominic and Chelsea are excited to start the next chapter of their lives together. They are grateful for the support and love of their family and friends and look forward to celebrating their wedding with all the people who have been part of their journey.
