Wedding Party

Nicole

Maid of Honor

Chelsea met Nicole at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD when Coley was born on May 11, 1998. Chelsea was four years old at the time and her baby sister, whom Chelsea initially thought was named "Nickel," has now grown up to be one of her best friends. Cole's adventurous nature, pure candor and fierce loyalty is evident to everyone who crosses her path. Chelsea is lucky to not only call Nicole her Maid of Honor on her wedding day, but to have Nicole by her side always.

Kyle

Best Man

Zak and Kyle met when Zak was born on March 12, 1993 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD. Zak has Kyle to thank for being a left-handed baseball pitcher. He always copied Kyle’s every move, including using Kyle’s favorite left-handed Ninja Turtle baseball glove. Whether it was educationally, socially or athletically, Kyle’s competitive nature has always pushed Zak to be better and he’s been an integral part in making Zak who he is today. Zak is incredibly grateful to have Kyle as his brother and his best man.

Amy

Bridesmaid

Chelsea met Amy in middle school and became fast friends. From concert chorus practice in middle school to dance parties in high school to visiting Raleigh in college, Amy has always been a bright light in Chelsea's life. Her easy-going personality is punctuated by fervent compassion, and Chelsea is so grateful to have Amy's support for her big day. Now that Amy is also engaged to her high school sweetheart, Chelsea can't wait to return the favor next June.

Bryant

Groomsman

Zak has known Bryant his whole life, but they’re more friends than cousins. They’ve shared countless sleepovers at Mom-mom’s house in Crisfield. Most of those nights were spent nursing stomach aches from too much candy, while Zak avoided Bryant’s horror movies. Time spent with Bryant is always fun, but it's his loving and caring personality that shine in all he does. Zak couldn’t imagine his big day without Bryant by his side.

Carley

Bridesmaid

Chelsea met Carley in middle school and quickly discovered the numerous things they had in common, some of which include harmonizing to Lady A and turning off their normal switches. Chelsea can always count on Car for just about anything, whether it's a philosophical talk or happy hour. No matter how life changes, Car has always been a constant, and Chelsea couldn't imagine her wedding day without Carley by her side.

Devin

Groomsman

Zak met Devin in elementary school when he moved down the street in Zak’s neighborhood. They played baseball together for over 12 years all over the East Coast, but Devin’s house on Carriage Lane in Salisbury became like Zak’s second home. They spent many nights playing video games until too late and pretending to be asleep when his mom came in. Devin’s loyalty and dependability have been ever-present throughout their friendship, and Zak is thrilled to have Devin with him on his wedding day.

Ellen

Bridesmaid

Chelsea met Ellen in class on the first day of their freshman year of high school. After somehow convincing Ellen to join their Destination Imagination team, Chelsea learned how witty, thoughtful and driven Ellen was. DI was the catalyst of their friendship, but Ellen's abounding reliability and kindness is why it'll be perpetual. Chelsea is thrilled to have Ellen (and her infectious laugh) by her side on March 30.

Kyle

Groomsman

Zak met Kyle at youth travel baseball tryouts for the Delmarva Shorebirds when they were in elementary school. They immediately became friends, bonding over their mutual love of video games, baseball and Kyle’s killer selection of candy that he always shared. Now that Kyle and his wife Michelle live in Richmond, Zak is lucky enough to be the brunt of Kyle’s perfectly crafted jokes as often as back in their baseball days. Zak is lucky to have Kyle’s kind heart and spirited personality with him on his big day.

Julia

Bridesmaid

Chelsea met Julia at field hockey try-outs freshman year of high school. Commiserating over two-a-days was enough to solidify a friendship for life. Although Julia's epic sleepovers will never be forgotten, its her ardent generosity, compassion and vivacity that Chelsea is especially grateful for. Julia's friendship means the world to Chelsea every day but especially on her wedding day.

Ray

Groomsman

Zak and Ray met during summer orientation before their freshman year of college at the University of Richmond. If you saw Ray on campus, you could assume Zak wasn’t too far away, which was often mirrored during baseball games when Ray was Zak’s closing pitcher. Known for his love of McDonald’s (which they’ve, luckily, both grown out of) Ray’s incredible work ethic and generosity is most notable, and Zak couldn’t be more blessed to have Ray in his life and as his groomsman.

Maggie

Bridesmaid

Chelsea met Maggie in elementary school but their friendship was cemented in middle school over hours of DI practice. Although they were never the field hockey MVPs in high school, Maggie's contagious giggle and unwavering positivity made it tolerable, and maybe even fun. She lays her altruistic heart upon everyone she meets and everything she does, and Chelsea is blessed to have her by her side always.

Stephen

Groomsman

Zak met Steve during youth little league and soccer in elementary school. Fast-forward to high school…Zak got his driver’s license and drove Steve to school and practice, but we have Steve’s responsibility to thank for ensuring they always got to their destinations safely. His steady competition during innumerable FIFA games and generosity of sharing countless cans of Spaghetti-Os are no match to his compassion and thoughtfulness. Zak is blessed to have such a great friend every day and on his wedding day.

Rachael

Bridesmaid

Chelsea met Rachael in 9th grade gym class. Somehow Rachael forgave Chelsea after, not only asking her to join Team Sports in gym class, but also to join her DI team. They quickly realized they were The Same Person, which naturally led to becoming college roommates and declaring the same major. "Through thick and thin" doesn't begin to describe their friendship, mostly due to Rachael's unfaltering loyalty, fierce work ethic, abundant compassion, and the best DIY skills in the world. Chelsea's wedding day wouldn't be complete without Rach.

Zach

Groomsman

Zak met Zach (aka ZMoore) at the beginning of his junior year and Zach’s freshman year of college. It took a few months of baseball practice and early morning lift, but they soon became close friends because Zach was always a catalyst for getting a crew together to do something fun. They spent countless Sundays on the couch watching football during Zak’s first year working after college, which has continued to this day. Zach’s infectious personality and genuineness are evident to everyone who meets him, and Zak is thrilled to have him by his side.

Parker & John James

Flower Girl & Ring Bearer

Parker and John James are Chelsea's cousins a few generations removed. Since Chelsea and Zak moved down the street from JJ and P in Richmond, they've become more like best friends than distant relatives. Whether it's swinging with Parker or playing catch with John James, Richmond wouldn't be the same without them. Chelsea and Zak adore loving on JJ and P all the time, but their wedding day will be extra special. They have no doubt Parker's smarts and leadership will guide the petals, and John James' energy and charm will protect the rings.
