Question

PREPARE FOR WEATHER

Answer

Although we planned for a beautifully sunny and warm wedding day, the forecast is calling for cool winds and rain! Our wedding will take place outdoors on the lawn so we recommend you bring a jacket, flannel, and wear some weather proof shoes that you can still get down in! The Goodyears will begin rain or shine, see you there friends and family! We cannot wait to celebrate with you!

Question

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

We love your kids - we really do. But due to necessity rather than choice, we are having an adult-only ceremony and reception. The only children attending are those who are immediate family to us and our bridal party or specifically named. Every parent deserves a night without kids...thank us later!

Question

CAN I BRING A GUEST?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes, but if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

WHAT IS THE PARKING SITUATION?

Answer

We ask that everyone carpool if possible as parking is limited. All vehicles will park at the neighbor's house, which will be marked off by signage. All guests will be able to ride over to the wedding location on a mini bus. The mini bus will be available to take all guests back at their convenience.

Question

WHAT'S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Dressy Casual, no jeans please. Our ceremony and reception will be taking place in a grassy field, so ladies, please keep this in mind when choosing your footwear! Since the event is outdoors, we'd recommend bringing a jacket just in case.

Question

CAN I TAKE AND POST PICTURES OF THE WEDDING ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, so we ask you to please turn off your cell phones, cameras, and other devices to enjoy our special moment with us. We encourage guests to take and post pictures on social media channels during the reception! Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #LetTheGoodyearsBegin so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
