Best Man
Cam and I have been best friends since 6th grade. We’ve been pretty much inseparable since we met and have been through almost everything together. Cam and I roomed together (Pritchard Hall) Freshman year at Virginia Tech, and spent the rest of our 3 years at VT living together as well (University Terrace), and no, we never got sick of each other. We’ve even talked about each other's “Best Man Speeches” since High School. I really consider Cam a brother and he is, without a doubt, the most loyal friend I could have asked for. I am incredibly humbled and honored to have him as my best man. FACTS ABOUT CAM: Cam lives in San Francisco, California and works in advertising. When he moved, he drove cross-country from Virginia to California just to see the country. He’s the best Mario Kart N64 player I have ever met, except when he’s had a beer. He is a very skilled photographer and takes amazing pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Pacific coast, and a lot more. He is also a part owner of the 4-time Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers.
Matron of Honor
You may have already figured this out: she’s my sister. Now “matron” since getting married during Covid and now mothering her baby boy Cassius. Morgan has had to endure living with me on numerous occasions, but now I’d give anything to get that back again. We bond best while laughing to Everybody Loves Raymond, Food Network, and finishing each other’s movie quotes. She is a loving wife, mother, and friend to so many people and is always willing to lend out a helping hand. You may catch her rapping it up on the dance floor.

Joe is my older brother and, in all seriousness, is the person I look up to the most and someone I try to model my life after. He’s not only a leader for Dominic and me, he is a leader and role model for the entire Vacca family. As a husband, father, brother, and friend, Joe is unmatched. Joe is always one of the first people I turn to whenever I have a problem, need advice, or just need a good laugh. Without a doubt, I would not be the person I am today without him. FACTS ABOUT JOE: Joe lives in West Long Branch, NJ along with his wife, Kara, and two children Sterling and Jack (my Godson). There is nobody I know more skilled at packing a truck to move an apartment or a car full of suitcases for vacation. Joe is an incredibly gifted salesman. You also may find this hard to believe, but we have NEVER fought in our entire lives. Not one time. And that streak still continues even to this day.

Caitlin was my saving grace during my dental GPR residency in York, PA. When chatting on fb, I found out that Caitlin was actually going to live in the apartment one floor down from me. Lord had answered my prayer in helping me find some stability while living in a new state. Caitlin and I spent dinners, weekends, and lots of on call vent sessions together for this one year together. Seltzers in the sun on the back porch were our favorite after a long day. I can always count on Cait to hear out any concern of mine or complaint with zero judgment and true concern. She’s always ready to grab a bag and head to the beach to relax. Although she hasn’t been able to relax much since getting her new black lab puppy Sully! Thankfully, we still chat multiple times a week, she’s a keeper.

I tell people often that my younger brother is probably the smartest, most athletic, and most well-rounded of the Vacca Boys. Dominic is my younger brother. Dominic is always the life of the party and you will most likely find him out on the dance floor, drink in hand, once the music gets going. Dominic is one of the rocks in my life and our bond continues to grow stronger and stronger. It’s not very often that an older brother looks up to his younger brother, but with Dom and me, that is absolutely the case. He is the embodiment of “work hard, play hard” and I have learned so much from him over the years. FACTS ABOUT DOM: Dominic is graduating Medical School from Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in May 2022 and hopes to continue his path to becoming a physician in Internal Medicine Residency. In college, he studied abroad in Alicante, Spain and has done multiple medical mission trips. Dominic also has strong musical talent, especially on the piano. He can hear a song, and within a day, he’s able to play the melody on the piano.
Bridesmaid
Kelyn was my “4th roommate” in college, not because she lived at our house, but because I was always living at hers. We were VT grads who loved Bible studies, deep chats, and wine nights. Kelyn was always my reliable bud who helped pull my D’s to C’s in college, as we were both Bio majors. After graduating, she earned her Nurse Practitioner degree and now works for the Air Force. If you’re lucky enough to see Kelyn on my wedding day give her a huge hug since she traveled all of the way from South Korea just to be a part of this special day! She’s literally the best.
Groomsman
Although our last names may be different, I consider Sal my third brother. Sal is one of the most loyal and selfless people I know. I’ve known Sal since I was 3 years old and we have been family ever since. I can always count on him for a good laugh and unyielding support. What he lacks in terms of sports gambling advice, he makes up for with love, laughter, and dependability. I honestly can’t picture my life without him and I’m very honored to have him as one of my groomsmen. FUN FACTS ABOUT SAL: Sal is my brother Joe’s best friend and he was Best Man at his wedding in 2015. As kids, we used to do everything together; front yard football games, pickup basketball, heated boardgames, etc. He is an avid MLB, NBA and European soccer fan and his favorite teams are the New York Yankees, New York Knicks and AC Milan (win or lose). Sal currently lives in Arlington, VA.

Jaime was lucky enough to live me with for my last 3 years of college and then for my first 2 years of dental school. Since the beginning of Will and I’s relationship, Jaime has been the sounding board of all of our good and bad times, pushing us to see the best in each other and working towards the best for both of us. We bond best with our quality time together usually going to the movies or board game nights. I can always count on her for honest advice, Bible study truth, and good ole fashioned cheap Mexican binge nights. Jaime has been a great mentor to me and thankfully still lives within 15 minutes! She’s a blessing.
Groomsman
the privilege of knowing. Logan has been one of my closest friends since freshman year at Virginia Tech and was a huge part of my life there. His best quality is his loyalty and he is the kind of person that would give you the shirt off his back (just don’t ask for the shoes off his feet, trust me). Logan is another “life of the party” guy so stick around him if you want to have a good time at this wedding! FUN FACTS ABOUT LOGAN: One afternoon during freshman year at VT, this guy with long hair and a bandana (yes he used to rock both) knocked on our door and asked if he could eat his lunch in our room/watch tv because he got locked out of his room. That guy was Logan Wilson. And the rest is history. Logan is extremely athletic, especially in wrestling and soccer, but all that athleticism gets wiped away when you get him on a basketball court. Logan currently lives in Leesburg, VA

Lauren is the last but not least part of our roomie group in college - living with me for the last 3 years while at VT! Some of my favorite past memories with Lauren were when we would run out to get a crispy chicken wrap from Dx then run back to our apartment to watch re-runs of “The Hills”. You can always count on Lo for help with an outfit as her favorite hobby is online shopping. She’s remained a great friend of mine mostly because she laughs at all of my jokes - her laugh is contagious. Lauren thankfully housed me for most of my dental school clinical rotations and our friendship continues to strengthen since graduating.
Groomsman
Stephen and I have been friends since middle school and he is one of the most solid and genuine friends I have. Stephen is the kind of friend that I can turn to, no matter the circumstance. His love of Christ is evident in everything he does and it’s something I truly admire and respect. Stephen and I share a love for country music and we often will text each other random song lines throughout the day/week. In high school volleyball, we would often make each other laugh by singing the lines during actual games. I’m very fortunate to have Stephen as one of my friends and groomsmen. FUN FACTS ABOUT STEPHEN: In high school, he drove a red Chevy Corvette (always obeying the speed limit of course...). Because of our heights, Stephen and I would always have to guard one another in middle school basketball and for the first year of knowing him, I couldn’t stand him because he was a way better player than I was (that feeling quickly faded). Stephen and his wife Jessica currently live in Richmond, VA.
Bridesmaid
I remember meeting Lesley during one of our Cru Thursday night meetings. We had just received word about who our Bible study leaders would be, and I was anxious to meet them. Lesley greeted me immediately with such a welcoming hug. After just chatting with her for a few moments I knew she would be special. Lesley is one of the most loyal, committed, people you will meet. She is so kind, generous, and honest. She radiates sincerity and love. I was lucky enough to be discipled by Lesley for my remaining years at VT which pushed me out of my comfort zone praying outwardly and discussing tough topics encouraging others to Christ. Lesley was applying to dental school at the time and encouraged me to pursue this field - she’s a huge part of why I do what I do. If you’re lucky enough to chat with Lesley, give her a big hug, hers are the best.
Groomsman
Brent and I met actually through my Best Man Cameron. Cameron, Stephen Cunningham, and Brent had been really close friends since elementary school, and I was the last one to infiltrate the group. Since then, the four of us have been incredibly tight. I was fortunate enough to spend 4 years at Virginia Tech with Brent and our brotherhood grows stronger even today. Brent is an incredibly kind, thoughtful, and selfless person. I can always turn to him to talk about serious topics and ask for advice, or to simply talk/gripe about Hokie Football. I couldn’t picture not having a person like Brent by my side as one of my groomsmen. FUN FACTS ABOUT BRENT: Brent was a manager for the VT Football team and every home game, he would catch practice punts during halftime. What he didn’t know is that we would count his catches and drops and report them after each game (if we were close enough, we’d yell things to try to distract him). He single-handedly propelled our high school volleyball team into the state championship by rattling off multiple points in a row in the semi-finals. Brent and his wife Brittany currently live in Philadelphia, PA
Bridesmaid
I met Meghan through a roommate search FB group for incoming freshman at Virginia Tech. We decided to still give the “random roommate” assignments a shot - needless to say Meghan and I lived separately but ended up spending breakfast, lunch, and dinner together every day for the first 6 months of college. We were each other’s only and best friend. We moved in with each other Sophomore year and remained roommates with Lauren and Jaime until graduating from tech. Meghan was always pulling us from our beds at 6:30am for all VT football games, no matter the game time (even 8pms)- I love that about her. Since graduating, Meghan went back to school for her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and plans to specialize in pediatrics.
Groomsman
Matthew Daffron: GROOMSMAN I’ve known Matt since we were in Elementary School and we have been great friends our whole lives. Matt is the kind of friend that no matter how long it’s been since I’ve talked to him, whenever we speak, we immediately click and we go on like we just spoke the day before. Matt has an incredible sense of humor and can always make me laugh, even when he’s not trying to. Matt is one of my oldest and most genuine friends and I am very lucky to have him as one of my groomsmen. FUN FACTS ABOUT MATT: Matt and I grew up on the baseball field together playing for the same AAU and high school team. He is an amazing husband to Sarah Daffron and father to his three children, Sean, Ella, and Joe. Since high school, we have belonged to the same Social Club where we meet and discuss various topics with doctors, judges, professors, students, and young professionals.
Bridesmaid
Although she loves her given name, you might hear our dental group call her “Liz”. She was in my dental clinical group while going to VCU. Liz was a fantastic student who stayed very motivated to work her way through school but at the same time she was always the one encouraging us to keep our sanity by taking a break. Liz was always creating lots of laughs in our friend group and has remained a great mutual confidant for Will and I. Liz finished her residency in pediatrics and now practices back in good ole VB. Count on Liz for a nice Pacifico and taco night - most all of my recipes come from her!
