A black-tie wedding is a highly formal evening event where guests are expected to wear tuxedos for men and floor-length gowns or elegant cocktail dresses for women, signifying a sophisticated and polished atmosphere with elevated decor, cuisine, and overall guest experience
As our vow renewal takes place on a Sunday, we wanted to be especially mindful of our guests’ time and commitments. With this in heart and mind, we have chosen to begin our celebration with a brunch reception prior to the ceremony. This gentle start to the day allows us to gather, share delicious food and a touch of bubbly, and enjoy meaningful moments together in a relaxed and joyful setting. As the day unfolds with many beautiful moments, beginning this way gives us the opportunity to linger, connect, and truly spend time with the people who have supported and loved us throughout our journey. We cannot imagine a more perfect way to begin this celebration than surrounded by all of you.
Our reception will be a brunch held before the ceremony, where we’ll spend time celebrating together. There will be no reception following the vow renewal.
Tyler and I chose to host it at the Airbnb we’re renting so we could ensure there’s plenty of room for everyone to celebrate together in a comfortable setting, all while being just minutes from the venue. Details on this will be given to everyone as the day gets closer.
