FAQs

Question

How and When Should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please click the RSVP tab and fill out your information. We ask that you kindly RSVP by July 10th. If you don't RSVP by this date, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love celebrating with you, however, we must provide an exact guest count to our vendors and will not be able to accept any late RSVPs.

Question

What if I RSVP'd and Can't Make it?

Answer

You will be missed! Life happens, no worries. Please let the bride or groom know as soon as possible that you will no longer be in attendance.

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

For men, pants with a tie and/or blazer are appropriate. For women, colorful summer dresses complement the setting beautifully. We respectfully ask guests to refrain from wearing shorts or jeans. If a polo is preferred due to the late‑August heat, we simply request that it be paired with a blazer.

Question

What Time Should I Arrive, and in What Time Zone?

Answer

The White Dove Barn venue is in Central Time. We recommend arriving at the venue 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony, which will begin at 4:30pm CT. At 4:25pm CT, the driveway will be blocked to prevent distractions during our ceremony.

Question

Does the Venue Have Parking?

Answer

Yes! Please pull in the driveway, which will take you to a very large parking lot next to the venue. We ask that you stay on the pavement at all times, and are respectful of the landscaping they work so hard to maintain for our enjoyment.

Question

Can I Bring a Plus-One?

Answer

We kindly ask that only the guests whose names appear on your physical invitation attend. As much as we would love to welcome everyone, we are intentionally keeping our celebration intimate and will not be accommodating for additional plus‑ones.

Question

Can I Bring My Kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we are keeping our celebration adults‑only. We kindly ask that only the guests listed on the invitation attend to help us maintain the atmosphere we’ve planned for the day.
