If you're feeling adventurous - this is an awesome way to explore the waters of Key West and see some BEAUTIFUL sandbars! I'll post some sandbar locations to visit too, but here's your first step!
This is a magical place, accessible only by boat. Rent your own boat or charter one to get here! Here is a link to a charter if you want someone else to do the captaining!
Another sandbar, accessible by boat only! Rent your own boat or charter one :) Here's a link for a charter option!
Got Sunsets?! See the magical Key West sunset here at Mallory Square. There will be people here singing, doing artwork, or just watching the sun set. There are also places to stop and get cocktails and/or snacks/dinner as you watch.
You'll be spending A LOT of time here :) Boat race viewing, and our wedding viewing are a couple of events that will take place here. But, you can come eat lunch or get drinks at the bar, we LOVE this spot!!
This is our favorite Mexican/Margarita spot in all of Key West! Our tradition: the 9 am flight out of Charlotte gets you to Key West by 11 am. We drop our stuff at our hotel, and walk over to Amigos for nachos and margaritas. Favorite Key West kickoff!
This is one of many options to get out on the water and see the sun set; or, snorkel, or, watch some dolphins. :)
Just do it!!
It won't take you long, but it'll be worth it if you love butterflies, birds, cool plants.....and FLAMINGOS! The birds and butterflies are flying freely, and one might even land on you. The vegetation is beautiful, and who wouldn't love to see a bright pink bird walking around?!
