Finally!

Thomas and Chelsea met online and decided to meet up a few days after Chelsea’s favorite holiday, Halloween (Thomas lied and made his costume sound way cooler than it was to make himself sound more intriguing, and it worked!) Since they were meeting around 6 or 7 pm, Chelsea assumed there would be food and did not eat. They met at a bar and ordered a cocktail. Thomas alluded to appetizers, but none were ever ordered. They started talking about all kinds of things, including their shared love of music, and a misunderstanding where they thought they both loved the same Avatar. They decided to order a second drink, and, not wanting the night to end, a third. At the end of the night, Thomas walked Chelsea to her train. She got home, ravenously cooked an entire box of pasta, ate three bites and fell asleep. During their date, Thomas had mentioned that he wanted to go out dancing. Chelsea had a concert that she had wanted to go to at a now-closed nightclub, Output, but it was on a Thursday. Chelsea mentioned the concert to Thomas, and told him that she had that Friday off for Veterans day. Thomas lied and told Chelsea he had the day off, and called out of work. Chelsea told Thomas they would be going to see Nora En Pure. He nodded his head and said yes, I like this music. They met the next week at a bar and ate grilled cheese sandwiches. Thomas told Chelsea that he isn’t a fan of sweets, which was a lie, and Chelsea also said she wasn’t a big fan of sweets, which was also a lie. Thomas mentioned that he is 5'10, and Chelsea said that she is 4'10, and they thought it was fun to be exactly a foot apart. They ate cheese, played games, and went to the concert. By that point, they both knew this was something really special. And they never spent more than a few days apart in a row ever since. Two weeks ago, Chelsea found out that Thomas is 5'8. Fin

Chelsea was drawn to Thomas' online animal attraction, as well as the fact he had been a zookeeper. After speaking online about how he intelligently turned a rainbow zebra onesie into a zebra stripe gum Halloween costume and confirming Chelsea's favorite animal was not a horse (horse people are the worst), the two decided to go out for drinks. Thomas had been instructed by all the women in his office to set up drinks and not dinner as a first date because drinks were more casual and allowed an easy exit for either party if the date did not go well.  After 3 drinks Thomas asked Chelsea if she wanted food, and she stated she was "alright ". The date went well other than a brief misunderstanding about liking a movie called Avatar, and during the date, Thomas mentioned one of the few things he did not already do with his friend group was go dancing.  Chelsea mentioned an "EDM" concert that was happening the next week, and wanting to see more of each other, they agreed to go. Thomas quickly realized he knew nothing about EDM or rave culture and spent the week asking his friend Evan what he should wear and listening to the dj's few songs on Spotify to become acquainted.   Not used to going to concerts that started after 11pm, Thomas decided to kill time to by taking Chelsea to a few of his neighborhood spots. When they got to the concert Thomas was amazed by the laser-filled dance floor, lively crowd, and overpriced drinks. While in the bathroom line the couple received many complements from friendly strangers about what a good pair they made. How compatible they seemed as a couple.  Not wanting to disappoint random strangers, the two decided never to separate from that point on.
