Our story began in Oakland, Pennsylvania. A mutual friend introduced us and we shared conversation over waffles for our very first date. This began a tradition that would become a staple of our relationship — going on breakfast dates. From there our relationship began to grow and flourish over our mutual love for fantasy football and happy hour. We began new yearly traditions, including Pittsburgh’s Ribfest and scouting which places in Pittsburgh serve the best fish fry. Our typical nights out soon turned into long nights of takeout and binge watching Netflix shows. Just when we thought our love could not grow any stronger, on August 2nd, 2019 our beautiful baby girl was born. As we endured the trials and tribulations of being new parents, our bond grew stronger than ever before. On Mother’s Day, Shawn popped the question with a handwritten note (which, at first, Chelsea put to the side to read later). After expressing the urgency of the letter, Shawn got down on one knee and the rest was history. We are so excited to start this new chapter of our lives and we look forward to celebrating with all of our favorite people!
