Ryan and I had Biology together Freshman year. I had the biggest crush on him, although, he'd never give me the time of day. Our teacher would always say, "Why don't you two date already?!" We would respond with, "ewww!" lol Sophomore year, we had another science class together. I'd let him copy my homework and I'd always move my seat so that I could sit next to him. Finally, I decided to just give him my number and I told him that we needed to hang out. I'd text him daily, which I'm sure was annoying haha. I was very persistent. Our first date... So, our first date was so silly! We were 16 and he had recently gotten his license. He didn't even have a car. He used his grandma's car and took me sledding. After we went sledding we had to ask my parents for money so we could get Taco Bell. We were 15/16. Broke. Jobless. But, we fell so in love <3 On March 31st, 2011 we were sitting in the movie theater when Ryan looked at me and asked me to be his girlfriend. Throughout the past 7.5 years, we've gotten to know each other, went on dates, had our fights, Were voted Whitmer High School's prom king and queen, switched jobs, I attended college and received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (longest 4.5 years of my life and Ryan was one of my biggest supporters), Ryan worked so hard and received his CDL and was promoted at his job, we moved into a cute, little, not so perfect apartment, and on August 8th, 2018 he asked me to be his wife. He made me the happiest girl in the world and made all my dreams come true. Our life as an engaged couple, so far, has been amazing. We are planning our dream wedding with the help from our beautiful family and friends. I cannot wait to become Mrs. Robinette!
