Teresa and Chelsea have been friends from the beginning. They first met in kindergarten when Teresa invited Chelsea over for one of her famous cookie decorating parties. The endearing nickname "Dooner" (or "Doon Buggy") was developed for Chelsea when Teresa's baby brother couldn't properly say "McDermott". In junior high school the teachers made the grave error of seating these two mischief makers together and they were frequently getting in to trouble for being too rowdy. Over the years Teresa and Chelsea have kept in touch and have always felt more like family than just friends.
