Is the wedding really on a Monday?

Answer

Yes, we wanted to keep our anniversary date November 17th, which just so happens to be on a Monday in 2025.

Are all the events at the resort?

Answer

Yes, we will be staying and getting married at Moon Palace Jamaica.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

1. Please type your name anywhere on the wedding website that says RSVP. You will see if you have a plus one or not. 2. Use the link below to make a $100 or more deposit on your room. When booking, your card information will be taken, but no payment. Once the room is booked, you will then receive a payment link to make the deposit. 3. Once the deposit has been made, please confirm that you will be attending by searching your name anywhere on the wedding website that says RSVP, click continue, press select , and let us know you will or will not be attending. Things To Note: 1. Please use the link below and make a deposit of $100 or more for your room. This is your tentative RSVP to our wedding, once you make your full payment in August your RSVP is official. 2. The mandatory minimum stay per room is 3 nights, but if you stay 4 nights you receive complimentary ground transportation to and from the airport. 3. Your bedding type is not guaranteed and is based on how many people are in the room. When booking, under guest information, special request, please write if you want 1 king bed or 2 double beds. When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible, but the deadlines are… March 23, 2025 {Deposit} August 16, 2025 {Full Payment} If we do not hear from you by March 23, 2025, we will assume that you are unable to attend.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 3 pm, so please arrive by 2:45 pm at the latest. I would hate to see you strolling in with the church finger up.

Will the ceremony and reception be outdoors?

Answer

Yes, we will be embracing the beautiful scenery Jamaica has to offer. It will not be on the beach.

What does an unplugged ceremony mean?

Answer

No pictures or videos should be taken during the ceremony, as we want our guests to be present with us in the sacred moments. We hired professional photographers and videographers to capture those moments and ask all guests to hold their phones until after the ceremony. #TheNelsonsNeverEndingLove

What does the “formal attire” dress code mean?

Answer

Polished, Demure, Impressive. Men can wear suits, dress shirt, tie, and dress shoes. Women can wear floor-length gowns, cocktail dresses, or pantsuits. It's better to be overdressed than underdressed!

Are there any colors guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

Our bridal party will be wearing browns and nude colors, so please refrain from wearing those colors, as we wish for our bridal party to stand out. In addition to this, please do not wear white, ivory, cream, or similar shades.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Our wedding is a strictly RSVP event. Only the name(s) on your invitation are allowed to attend. However, if you have a travel buddy they are more than welcome to travel with you but cannot attend the wedding events. Thank you for understanding.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

While we love the children, this is an adult-only event. We appreciate you in advance for making proper arrangements.

Yes, the drinks are on us and the hangover is on you, get ready to party!

How do I provide a gift?

How can I get ground transportation from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

Moon Palace provides complimentary ground transportation services. This service is applicable with a minimum stay of 4 paid nights and is subject to availability. Each guest will be responsible for booking their transportation service a minimum of two weeks in advance of their arrival date. If reservations are not made according to the above, there will be no credit or refund, without exception. Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, You will need one and it cannot be expiring within or beyond 6 months of travel to Jamaica. For example, it cannot be expiring May 2026. Plan ahead! https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/need-passport.html

Can I make a change to my reservation?

Answer
