What gift should I give you?

Answer

Gift cards, money, anything on the registry. There is a registry tab to Target and Amazon, please click the buttons to the right to access them. The links are also on your invitations that were sent to you and in the link in the text message that went along with the invitation. You can buy the products right from the site. You can also look up mine or Mike's name on the Target and Amazon registry website. You can mail the products to your house and preset them at the wedding, or mail it to our house, we can provide our address. Thank you in advance. PLEASE BRING A GIFT. PLEASE DO NOT GET US ANYTHING THAT IS NOT ON THE REGISTRY. PLEASE DO NOT GET US SOMETHING THAT IS SIMILAR, BUT NOT EXACTLY IS ON THE REGISTRY. Unless its gift cards or money of course.

How to book a room at the hotel?

Answer

The hotel name, address, and link is located under the "Travel" tab. The link is also located on your invitation and link (website) in the text message. YOU HAVE UNTIL AUG 11, 2025 MONDAY TO BOOK A ROOM. There are only 20 rooms available, including ours and they are BOOKING UP FAST. You DO NOT need to pay for the room now, though they will ask for your card information. They will not take money out of your card until the day you check in. These are discounted rates that you will not get at any hotel close to the wedding/reception. There is free self-parking and one parking pass per room Please change the dates at the top of the hotel booking website for the days you want to come, and how many people will be in the room. Click book a room and pick between a double queen bed and king bed with balcony. Proceed to fill in your information about your guests and card. The wedding and reception are located at that hotel. If you book a room, you will not have to drive or get transportation anywhere.

What kind of bar is it?

We are having a CASH BAR. You will have to pay the bartenders for what drink you want at the time.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

IT STARTS AT 2:00PM. Please get there and be seated or standing by 1:30pm. There may or may not be enough chairs for everyone to sit. If you have kids, please have at least one on your lap. Chairs are first come first serve. Elderly and sick will have chairs first and over you.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

YES, but please know we only invited kids as a CURTESY. THIS WILL NOT BE A KID-FRIENDLY OR G-RATED EVENT. This is still a wedding and an ADULT EVENT. Music, language, etc. will not be watered down or excluded. ME, MIKE, OUR FAMILY MEMBERS, FRIENDS, THE HOTEL EMPLOYEES, OUR VENUE EMPLOYEES, OTHER PEOPLE ETC. ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR KIDS. Please, keep them in check.

Is there parking?

Answer

YES. If you book a hotel room, there is ONE parking pass per room and SELF-PARKING is free and located in the parking garage next to the hotel. There is also valet parking in that same parking garage next to the hotel, that will cost $35 plus tip. IF YOU DID NOT BOOK A HOTEL ROOM: Valet parking is free and will be located in the parking garage next to the hotel.

How to get to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on the beach (if good weather) that is located behind the hotel. You can walk into the hotel lobby, there may or may not be someone outside the hotel entrance and/or lobby that will direct you. You can ask a hotel employee to direct you.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

NO. When you RSVP, it will tell you if you have a guest added or not. Some people do, some people don't. The ones that do, often just have one guest they can bring. If you have children, often the guests added to your name are just the amount of kids you have. You can contact me or mike and we can tell you how many guest slots you have. PLEASE DO NOT ASK TO ADD MORE GUESTS. We have a set number of people that can be allowed at the wedding and cannot add more.

Will the ceremony and/or reception be outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be OUTDOORS on the BEACH. Please plan and dress accordingly. Chairs are for the sick and elderly first, then first come first serve. If it rains, the ceremony will take place INDOORS. The reception will be INDOORS. Though, if it is not raining, the doors will be open for you to go on the boardwalk and beach. THERE IS NO DRINKING ALCOHOL ON THE BEACH. You cannot go pass the grass outside with an alcoholic beverage.

How do I get to the reception?

Answer

The reception will be indoors in the hotel listed under the Travel tab. It is very close to where the beach ceremony will take place, but there will be signs and someone telling you where to go.

Is it okay to take pictures during the wedding and reception?

Answer

YES! PLEASE DO. There will be a photographer present for the whole event (from 2pm-7pm) so just let ME know (mike might forget to tell me) if you want to take a professional picture and buy it.

Does the hotel provide a complimentary breakfast?

Answer

Unfortunately, NO. There is a restaurant in the hotel, not a kitchen. You can call the restaurant in the hotel and ask to do a breakfast with us or friends/family ahead of time if you want, but it will not be free. WE ARE NOT PROVIDING YOU WITH A FREE BREAKFAST AT THE HOTEL.

Are there tolls on the way to VA beach?

Answer

YES. MANY. Especially coming from PA. Most tolls are about $1-$3 but once you hit Chesapeake Bay, there is a toll for $16 coming into VA Beach and out of VA Beach everyday all day. It is ~15miles of bridge and tunnels on top of water and in the water.
