Maid of Honor
Dana went to one (1) party in high school. Chelsea was there. And two girls who just wanted to talk about The O.C. made it into a lifelong friendship that has gloriously found them both across the country at the same time so they can be better aunts to one another's cats.
Maid of Honor
Madeline and Melanie have been boon companions since her birth. Together, they have taken road trips up and down the Eastern seaboard, traipsed about Europe, and challenged each other to top one another's birthday cake year after year until a ceasefire was called. The two Ms. Zardoyas are able to commiserate over their shared profession, teaching elementary school.
Bridesmaid
Celine and Chelsea met in the dorms before classes even started freshman year at USC. They shared a love for celeb gossip, movies, and Nordstrom. Countless nights at The Arclight Hollywood and Canter's Deli have turned into afternoon tea or coffee dates in New York City where they both reside and complain about the lack of Nordstroms in the city.
Bridesmaid
Melissa and Madeline met when they wound up in the same Spanish and Math class at UF. This was strange, considering they were both French majors. Their friendship spanned oceans and states in the twelve years they have been friends. They are best known for being insufferably amused by their own inside jokes.
Bridesmaid
Emily and Chelsea met at the end of Chelsea's undergraduate career. They are known for long walks to The Observatory, complaining about their jobs, and making fun of every show they don't watch. Without Emily, Chelsea would never have listened to Hamilton, which meant she never would have met Madeline. She's their ultimate matchmaker.
Bridesmaid
Monica and Madeline bonded over their mutual love of pop culture. Over the sixteen years of their friendship, what they have lacked in proximity they have made up for in frequent communication. Madeline is happy to finally be giving Monica a best-friend-in-law!
Bridesmaid
Lauren's dad and Chelsea's dad were best friends in grade school so that Lauren and Chelsea could some day be soul sisters. Their bond predates them and will probably outlast them, which is exactly as they hope.
Bridesmaid
Taryn and Madeline sat next to each other during their first day of grad school, and were fortunate enough to spend their year interning in the same grade at the same school, allowing them to have lunch together every day. When graduation sent them both to different cities, they kept in close contact with weekly phone call sessions. Madeline is also happy to be giving Taryn a long-awaited best-friend-in-law.
Bridesmaid
Melissa and Chelsea have known one another since high school. Within six months of one another, they will both be getting married to two of the greatest hype men of all time, which has only made each other's wedding more special. They cannot wait for more dinners wherein David and Madeline talk about how great their spouses are and also time travel.
Bridesmaid
Madeline and Amelia became best friends when their mothers became best friends at the Venetian Pool. Over the years, the relationship has grown from being 'friends' to 'family friends' to 'cousins.' Madeline and Amelia will, at any given moment, quote obscure Nicole Kidman movies, The Nanny, or Brigadoon.
Ring Bearer
Emmett is Lauren's son. When he met Madeline, he fell in absolute love with her and held her hand on the road trip they all took on the Fourth of July.
Flower Girl
Emma is the daughter of Madeline's cousin, Jeannie. The first time she met Chelsea, Emma had hearts in her eyes, and she told her mother very seriously, "I miss that girl," when shown a picture of the two brides. (She meant Chelsea.)
Officiant
Bobby has only known life with Chelsea in it. Though Chelsea is two years older, people always thought they were twins until Bobby hit a growth spurt. Now, he has to physically look down at Chelsea, but he still looks up to her emotionally (right?). They have always had the closest bond of all their siblings, and it's only grown as they share common interests and the same profession. Chelsea regrets crying so much when he was born. They are in each other's top three favorite people of all time, and Chelsea is beyond honored that Bobby has the third most important role in the wedding after the brides.
