Maid of Honor
Brick and I have been best friends since Les dropped me off at Prodigy Daycare back in 1992!! That’s 28 years people! We’ve traveled near and far- from “climbing” Machu Picchu together, summering with her Nana in Connecticut, cruises in the Carribbean, to road tripping through the Grand Canyon, we’ve sure racked up some SkyMiles together. She’s the ying to my yang, the introvert to my extrovert and my true soul sister.
Matron of Honor
I met Quart the first week of freshman year at Alabama. We started our friendship off like any normal 18 year old's- pregaming in dorm rooms with Burnette's Vodka followed by late night rides home by the campus party bus. Her vibrant and eccentric personality is one that lights up any room, so it made it hard for me to stay away. We have spent the last 12 years being absolute weirdos together, obsessing over dogs, pulling her weave out of sunroofs and devouring cheese boards. Her husband, Stephen, happens to be one of my good friends from high school, and we are currently planning our future commune for myself and Kyle to eventually move in with the two of them. I trust Courtney more than most people, yet I have learned one main rule over the years....never put her on speaker phone.
Bridesmaid
I met Dana my freshman year of high school when I luckily moved in 3 doors down from the *hottest* junior in school. Dana and I become quick partners in crime, from terrorizing the lifeguards at Kingsley pool to fighting over who would be a more ideal partner for John Mayer. Dana has always been my big bro with the best laugh, the most generous heart and I would probably marry Dana if Kyle wasn’t in the picture hehehe
Bridesmaid
My sweet Molly and I met the summer after graduating from Alabama, on a mutual friends beach trip. We found it so odd that we never crossed paths in school, but looking back- this was probably a blessing in disguise. If there’s a fun scheme, Molly will find it, and I love that about her. My favorite memories with Molly include consuming way too many Croque Monsieur’s in Paris, galavanting around Los Angeles and late night dance parties at Noni's!
Bridesmaid
Dirty D and I met way back when in the 6th grade. We immediately hit it off and quickly became the best of pals. From beach trips with our moms down in Grayton Beach to tearing up the town in London together, there is never a time that I am with D when we are not living our best lives. She's my workout partner, my jewish curl sister and my go-to fashionista (bc lord knows I need it) I stood by her on her big day and now she is returning the favor with me!
Bridesmaid
MLL - my sister from another mister! We met back in 2016 on our girlfriend Katelyn's bachelorette trip to Mexico and have been twins ever since. We've lived across the street from eachother, driven the exact same white SUV, own the same wardrobe, order the same meals- you name it, we do it identically. My favorite memory with Mar would have to be early on in our friendship, ordering an Uber pool ride (peasant I know) from 5Paces, hopping in and seeing her sitting in the backseat of the Camry as my ride share. Good thing we lived across the street ;) My big day would not be the same without my twin sis by my side, yet I hope Kyle doesn't mistake her for me ;)
Bridesmaid
My sassy Ernesto and I fell in luff our senior year of college. The blonde mafia is what we coined ourselves as and I think it's extremely appropriate. From rollerblade rides to happy hour with pvc pipes (I have no balance) to moving in together after college and finding her locked in her room for hours because of a roach, we have definitely had to come to eachothers rescue multiple times. Erin's witty, gorgeous, hilarious and will always tell you straight up what she's thinking- there's no BS and I love that about her!
Best Man
Mike and I met freshman year of college at the Sigma Chi frat house. I knew once I saw the kid in a sticky fingers T-Shirt and plaid shorts, he was going to need some friends. Fast forward 13 years, 8 of which we were roommates, and we are still best friends even after we tricked a few girls that he was gay when he moved to Charleston.
Groomsman
Tom was also a pledge brother of mine. I was a little intimidated when I first met Tom as many are as he can be sort of an ass. Hanging out a few times though I learned he was one of the wittiest people I know, and he isn’t afraid of anyone just ask the guy at trio.
Groomsman
I knew Scavo before we began pledging as he lived on my hall freshman year. First few months I wondered who this weirdo was that would always leave his door open and scream at NBA finishes. Fast forward 10 years and here we are moving to Charleston at the same time and living together. We always had a good time be that raging at Morris Island on the boat every weekend or running up a mystery tab at trio every Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Groomsman
Shumaker was my pledge for 6 months; it was a great 6 months lol. We connected quick from trips to Clemson on the weekend as his high school friends were all friends at school with my best friends (including Lewis) and our love for Bob Segar.
Groomsman
I was going to tell you the story about when Nick and I first met but I’ll leave that to you to ask him about the pit bull that attacked his arm. But on a serious note, Nick has been one of my best friends since freshman year in college. He is always down for a good time on the town even he can only make it 4 drinks before having to pass out.
Groomsman
Lewis was probably my first best friend. We met at Coach DeHart’s basketball camp back in the early 90s. He lived about a mile away so I would ride my bike over, play basketball all day and raid his family’s snack cabinet (they had the best snacks). We’ve kept in touch over the years even though we went to different colleges and he now has 2 kids.
Groomsman
I’ve known Summers since my early years in high school. When I first met him, he was always an angry bear, but we got along and over the last few years we have gotten to be very close friends. He has the biggest heart of anyone I know and if I ever had to call someone at 4am to help me out he would be my first call.
Groomsman
Tony and I meshed over our love for Gamecock football. When Mike and I were the only ones left in Columbia, I could count on Tony to make the drive up every weekend to rage at tailgate and after. Tony and I are the type of people who could not talk for 2 years but then we get together and it was like we were hanging out the day before.
