Chelsea and Kurt met 4 years ago at their job where they worked in the same department. As the years went on they got to know each other and became better friends. One day after work Kurt invited Chelsea to dinner and some drinks. Little did they know that this would be the start of their wild ride together. 
In the next couple months of hanging out, Chelsea asked Kurt if he would like to join her in Napa for a weekend winery getaway. Of course Kurt happily said yes, and the two were off drinking wine among the beautiful vineyards of Napa Valley. While sipping on champagne and Grapes at Domain Chandon, Kurt asked Chelsea if she would be his girlfriend. Chelsea hesitated at first, but after thinking it through, decided to say “yes!” 


Fast forward a fun year later, Kurt decided to take Chelsea up north into Tahoe National Forest to Union Valley Reservoir. There they went kayaking and Kurt had a special picnic set up at the other end of the lake for a picnic. Chelsea just thought this was a special one year anniversary day for the two of them. Kurt laid out the blanket and popped open some wine. They laid on the blanket together while snacking on some prosciutto and crackers looking at the dark blue water sloshing up to the deep green forest that lay below the snow covered mountains in the distance. 
It was there, that Kurt had a question for Chelsea as he pulled something small out of his pocket. Chelsea having no clue what was going on sat up thinking he was going to give a smart remark as usual. Then as he sat up and opened up the box with the big fat ring inside it he said, “ Will you marry me?” 
Chelsea burst into tears and said “Yes, of course I will!” The two kissed and Chelsea ran up and down the beach yelling “I’m engaged!!” 
They spent the rest of the day swimming, playing with their dog and enjoying their time as fiancé and fiancé.
